I now live with Gordon and Helena in memory alone.
I passed away this morning; Helena was with me, as she had been throughout the night.
It's good to be free of that ailing body.

I am very sorry to hear this. I'll miss your lovely posts. Nice to know that Helena was with you in this crucial time. Hope you'll have proper rest now.
A few weeks ago I came across a mentioning of Tony Blair in 'The London Paper' (August 26th). He was mentioned as one of the artistic curiosities to explore in Newcastle. As I am an English teacher myself now, I keep his memory alive by telling my students about him and his housemates and, of course, showing them pictures of some of his work. Reactions are most often delightful.
I hope Gordon's alright. Will this blog be continued by him now?
